Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you start.

Do I need a microphone? +

No. PodPilot generates the audio entirely from your written prompt — no microphone, no recording setup, no quiet room required. You never speak a single word. The AI voice does all of that for you, and it sounds like a natural, human presenter rather than a text-to-speech robot.

Will it sound robotic? +

No. PodPilot uses next-generation voice synthesis that's trained on thousands of hours of natural human speech. The result is warm, paced, and expressive — not the flat monotone of older text-to-speech systems. You choose from 12+ voices, each with distinct personality and tone. We encourage you to listen to a sample before you commit to anything.

Which podcast apps does it publish to? +

PodPilot distributes to all major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pocket Casts, and more. We manage your RSS feed and the initial directory submissions so you don't have to touch any of that yourself. New podcasts you approve are pushed to all platforms automatically.

Can I edit the podcast myself? +

Yes. Before PodPilot produces the audio, you can review and edit the full script. Change the angle, adjust the tone, add specific examples, or rewrite sections entirely. Once you approve the script, PodPilot handles the rest. You can also download the final audio file if you want to do further editing in your own software.

Do I own the content? +

Yes, completely. Everything produced through PodPilot — the scripts, the audio files, the show notes, the artwork — is yours. You can use it however you like, including repurposing it for other platforms, licensing it, or distributing it independently of PodPilot. We don't claim any rights to your content.
