Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PodPilot collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our AI-powered podcast creation services. We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users.
We collect account information (name, email), podcast preferences (topics, tone, schedule), and content you provide. We also automatically collect technical data including IP address, browser type, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies to improve service functionality.
Your information enables core services including AI content generation, voice synthesis, episode publishing, and distribution. We analyze aggregated, anonymized data to enhance our AI models and service performance. Marketing communications are sent only with your consent, and you can opt-out anytime.
Your podcast scripts and audio content are processed strictly for your podcast production. We do not use your content to train our AI models or for any external purposes. All content is encrypted during transmission and storage.
We share data only with essential service providers (hosting, RSS distribution platforms) under strict confidentiality agreements. Legal requirements may necessitate disclosure, but we notify users unless prohibited. We never sell your personal data.
We employ enterprise-grade security measures including SSL encryption, regular security audits, and access controls. Your data is stored on secure servers with backup systems and breach notification protocols.
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime, which permanently removes all personal data and content from our systems within 30 days.
Data may be processed internationally but only in countries with adequate privacy protections. We use EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA.
You have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Objection to processing and withdrawal of consent are also available through your account settings or by contacting us directly.
Our services are not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children and will delete such information if discovered.
We notify users of material policy changes via email or in-app alerts. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
For privacy concerns or data requests, contact our Data Protection Officer at support@podpilot.org. We respond to all inquiries within 72 hours.
